Matt began studies in the Civil Engineering and Geomatics program at the Oregon Institute of Technology in 1998.  From September 2001 to June 2003, Matt worked for Precision Structural Engineering as an Engineering Technician.  During that time, he gained knowledge in a diverse array of structural engineering projects, ranging from residential structural systems to low-rise commercial projects.

During his employment at ZCS Engineering, Matt has managed many custom residential and small commercial projects, proving to be a valuable asset to the ZCS design team.  Matt has experience in a variety of structural engineering media including precast and cast in place concrete, structural steel, masonry, and timber.  Matt also specializes in historic building rehabilitation and retrofit.
