While attending Portland State, Jason worked at LSW Architects gaining experience in Computer Aided Drafting Design, as well as knowledge of project coordination for building designs.  He also interned at Kramer Gehlen & Associates and accepted a full time position after graduating in 1997.

Jason has been the Project Engineer and Project Manager for numerous projects including educational facilities, low to mid-rise residential structures, assisted living facilities, industrial facilities, and commercial and office buildings.  He was also principal designer for various government agency and local municipality structures and improvements as well as many design/build projects.  These various projects have involved the use of regular reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, light gauge steel, and timber materials.  The experience he brings to ZCS Engineering enables him to successfully manage and engineer projects of various types and materials, while providing them both on time and within budget.
